Tasks
- Support seasonal buying and assortment planning aligned with brand strategy and commercial objectives.
- Analyze global product assortments, market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to recommend the optimal product mix.
- Assist with seasonal line reviews, pricing, channel segmentation, and buying presentations.
- Manage the buying calendar, purchase orders, order revisions, and seasonal forecasting through internal systems.
- Coordinate seasonal samples and maintain accurate product and order information.
- Monitor sales, sell-through, inventory, and product performance to identify business opportunities and improve in-season results.
- Support sales forecasting and inventory planning while working closely with Retail, Supply Chain, and In-season Management teams on replenishment, allocation, and stock optimization.
- Communicate regularly with global headquarters to share market insights, product feedback, and buying requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, E-commerce, Marketing, and other teams to execute successful product launches and seasonal strategies.
- Support product training and seasonal briefings to ensure alignment across internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Buying MD or Merchandiser in the retail fashion, footwear, or sports industry.
- Experience in premium, contemporary, or luxury fashion brands is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in seasonal buying, assortment planning, order management, and sales or inventory analysis.
- Ability to independently manage an assigned product category from seasonal planning through in-season management.
- Strong commercial mindset, customer focus, and a keen interest in fashion and consumer trends.
- Strong product sense, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, solve problems proactively, and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Business-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
