Role Purpose: We are looking for an Event Specialist to own Subdued's events and content shoots in the Korean market. You will take each project from concept to execution, from store openings and community events to influencer dinners and local content shoots, and turn Subdued's brand world into experiences our community can see, join, and share.

1. Event Planning & Execution

• Plan and run brand events end to end: store openings, pop-ups, in-store events, and community events (e.g., run clubs, movie nights, DIY workshops)
• Organize influencer and VIP events such as opening dinners, from guest list and invitations to RSVP tracking and on-site hosting
• Lead on-site operations: run-of-show, staffing, set-up and tear-down, and guest experience

2. Content Shoot Production

• Develop shoot proposals for local content (seasonal, cultural moments, platform-exclusive content) aligned with the global campaign calendar
• Manage pre-production: concept, moodboard, location scouting and permits, styling and SKU selection, talent and crew booking, and call sheets
• Direct on set and coordinate post-production deliverables for social, digital ads, and e-commerce

3. Community & Ambassador Activations

• Plan regular activations for ambassador programs and the wider community to build long-term engagement
• Run focus groups: participant recruitment, consent forms, moderation, and summarizing feedback for HQ

4. Vendor, Budget & Logistics Management

• Source and manage vendors and venues (catering, photobooth, decor, printing, equipment rental, photographers)
• Build and track event and shoot budgets, manage petty cash and payment requests, and keep usage records
• Coordinate GWP, gifting, and merchandise production and delivery for events

5. Compliance & Risk

• Ensure events and shoots follow local regulations, including permits, venue rules, and personal data consent (PIPA)
• Prepare contingency plans for weather, capacity, and on-site issues

6. Reporting & Cross-Functional Alignment

• Deliver post-event and post-shoot reports covering attendance, content output, engagement, and learnings
• Align with HQ, store, e-commerce, and PR teams on timelines, assets, and brand guidelines

• Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, brand activation, or content production, ideally in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle
• Proven track record of running events and shoots end to end, from proposal to on-site execution
• Strong network of local vendors, venues, photographers, and production partners in Seoul
• Experienced in managing budgets and multiple projects at once under tight timelines
• Calm and resourceful on site, with strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written); Chinese is a plus
• Proficient in Excel and PPT; design or editing tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe) are a plus
