The Global Transaction Banking Department (GTBD) Seoul Desk serves as a strategic partner to Relationship Managers (RMs), driving the promotion and delivery of Transaction Banking solutions. We provide specialized expertise and deep insights into Cash Management and Trade Finance products. Structurally, the department operates under the APAC regional head and maintains a direct reporting lines to GTBD Hong Kong and GTDB APAC, ensuring seamless regional integration.

[Job Responsibilities]
-    Responsible for growing the profits from clients by focusing on Cash Management, TF and cross selling Transactional FX. 
-    Responsible for identifying, originating, structuring, executing Transaction Banking solutions to existing and target clients thorough own origination and in collaboration with Corporate Banking RMs and regional GTBD and other country GTBD teams.
-    Responsible for understanding the evolving sector specific needs and market changes and aligning and building solutions for Korean clients. Responsible for replication the solutions to other clients in Korea. 
-    Responsible for the end-to-end delivery for GTBD solutions from marketing and promotion, client pitches, delivery of product expertise, credit and transaction process to the coordination of internal workflows and booking arrangement for deal closure.
-    Responsible for maintaining good relationships with the and take ownership of existing client portfolios and target clients through and active client calling discipline solely and/or jointly with RM and other product partners.
-    Work with Korea Treasury team to ensure cross-sell of FX.
-    Responsible to communicating and explaining the success stories so that the deals are replicated with other clients.

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
•    Around 10years Transaction Banking experience in preferably in Transaction Banking or Structured Trade Finance (STF), with a proven track record of implementing STF solutions in the Korean market. 
•    Deep technical knowledge of STF (e.g., Credit Insurance-backed facilities, Receivable Finance, Supply Chain Finance)..
•    Good knowledge of Korea market with good relationship with Korean top tier clients. 
•    Ability to work in a matrix organization including using influencing skill to drive business
•    Bias for action and ability to get things done; Perseverant, Analytical and ability to manage ambiguity
