Tasks
- Perform technical review, sizing, and specification development for major machinery and mechanical equipment used in LNG, FSRU conversion/newbuild, regasification systems, and small-scale onshore/floating LNG terminals and package projects
- Select and evaluate major equipment, including rotating machinery, reciprocating equipment, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers, vaporizers, and mechanical packages
- Prepare and review equipment datasheets, technical specifications, requisitions, and other mechanical engineering documents
- Review RFQs, client specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards to determine equipment requirements
- Perform Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and technical comparison of vendor proposals
- Review vendor quotations and identify technical deviations, exclusions, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Coordinate technical clarifications and negotiations with vendors, suppliers, clients, and project stakeholders
- Perform cost estimation for machinery, mechanical equipment, and related packages during bidding and proposal stages
- Support budgetary inquires and obtain technical and commercial quotation from qualified vendors
- Analyze vendor quotations and develop reliable equipment cost benchmarks for future bids
- Develop and maintain equipment cost databases, vendor databases, and standardized technical specifications
- Support the standardization of equipment specifications, technical requirements, vendor information, and cost data
- Coordinate with Process, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Project, Procurement, and Commercial teams during proposal development
- Review equipment interfaces and ensure that technical requirements are properly incorporated into project proposals
- Participate in technical meetings and clarification discussions with international clients and vendors
- Provide technical support throughout the bidding process, including proposal revisions and contract negotiation
- Perform other technical sales and proposal engineering duties related to machinery and mechanical packages as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related engineering discipline
- Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing technical specifications and datasheets for major plant or marine machinery
- Strong experience with rotating machinery such as pumps and compressors and/or heat exchange equipment
- Ability to perform equipment sizing, specification development, and technical evaluation
- Experience conducting Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and technical comparisions of vendor proposals
- Ability to anlayze vendor quotations and perform equipment cost estimation
- Understanding of major machinery and mechanical packages used in shipbuilding, offshore, plant, LNG, or EPC projects
- Ability to review RFQs, client specifications, technical requirements, and related engineering documentation
- Strong understanding of vendor documentation and equipment
- Strong analytical, perform-solving, and technical coordination skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, commercial, and project teams
- Business-level English communication skills sufficient to review and prepare technical specifications and conduct technical meetings and negotiations with international clients and vendors

필수 요건
- ✓화학공학, 기계공학, 조선해양공학 또는 관련 공학 전공 학사 이상
