Tasks
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across Korea, including warehousing, transportation, and after-sales activities, ensuring timely execution, cost efficiency, and compliance with established service standards.
- Serve as the key point of contact between third-party logistics (3PL) partners and internal stakeholders in Korea, facilitating smooth communication and operational alignment.
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancement and drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes in collaboration with relevant local teams.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate 3PL service quality, proactively manage operational issues, and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken when service levels are not met.
- Manage customs-related compliance requirements, including coordination with local customs authorities and proper control, retention, and management of import and export documentation in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Support the selection and performance assessment of local 3PL partners by developing scopes of work, conducting market benchmarking, and evaluating competitive offerings to ensure optimal logistics solutions.
- Participate in and take ownership of local and regional logistics projects as required, contributing to broader business and operational objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics or operations management related working experience
- Knowledge or exposure to end to end logistics operations (international freight, brokerage, warehousing, local transport) highly advantageous.
