About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team at our Korea subsidiary. This is a hands-on mid-level role responsible for the full cycle of accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional who can operate independently, manage priorities effectively, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Month-End Close

• Perform month-end and year-end book closing
• Prepare and update P&L data, prepaid expenses, restoration fees, and accruals
• Calculate and process monthly rental and commission payments
• Reconcile GL accounts and investigate variances

Accounts Receivable

• Manage and monitor daily sales records via SAP system
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of receivables including cash receipts
• Review and reconcile account discrepancies
• Liaise with stores and internal stakeholders to resolve sales-related issues

 
Tax & Compliance

• Perform VAT declarations and reconcile input VAT with NTS system
• Support Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filing preparation
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and group financial policies

 
Systems & Process Improvement

• Maintain accurate records in SAP (ECC / HANA)
• Support SAP HANA migration and system implementation projects
• Identify and drive AP/AR process improvements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within a foreign-affiliated or multinational company
• Solid knowledge of AR, AP, GL, and Korean VAT/tax regulations
• Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or HANA)
• Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of data accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Preferred

• Experience in retail or consumer goods industry
• Familiarity with intercompany transaction processes
• Experience supporting ERP migration projects
• CPA, KICPA, or equivalent professional certification
