1️⃣ 국내 Lab Automation 생태계를 직접 구축하는 역할
단순히 기존 시스템을 운영하는 것이 아니라, 국내 제조사 장비와 Thermo Fisher Automation Platform을 연결하며 Automation Ecosystem을 확장하는 핵심 역할을 수행할 수 있습니다.

2️⃣ 직접 개발한 Software가 실제 Lab Automation에 적용되는 End-to-End 경험
단순 Software 개발에 그치지 않고, 장비 연동을 위한 Driver 개발부터 실제 Automation System 적용, 설치 이후 안정화와 Troubleshooting까지 직접 경험할 수 있습니다. 본인이 개발한 결과물이 실제 연구 현장에서 어떻게 작동하는지 End-to-End로 확인할 수 있는 역할입니다.

3️⃣  Global Automation Platform을 기반으로 Local Development를 주도할 수 있는 기회
글로벌 Automation Platform을 기반으로 국내 장비 연동을 위한 Driver와 Integration Solution을 직접 개발하고 적용할 수 있습니다.

주요 업무

• Thermo Scientific™ Momentum SDK 기반 Lab Instrument Driver 설계, 개발, 테스트 및 유지보수
• Momentum과 다양한 연구장비 간 Software Interface 및 System Integration 개발
• 고객의 연구 Workflow 및 요구사항을 분석하여 Automation Integration Solution 설계 및 구현
• Software, Communication 및 Hardware Integration 과정에서 발생하는 이슈 분석 및 Troubleshooting
• AI 기반 Scientific Application 및 Digital Solution과 Lab Automation Workflow 간 연동 개발
• 고객 PoC 및 적용 지원, Global Engineering Team과 협업을 통한 Integration Framework 개선

자격요건 

• Computer Science, Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering 또는 관련 전공 학사 이상
• 7년 이상의 Software 개발 경험 보유자
• C#/.NET 기반 Object-Oriented Software 개발 경험을 보유하신 분
• TCP/IP, REST API 등 통신 Protocol 및 API에 대한 이해도가 있는 분
• Software Debugging 및 Testing 역량을 보유하신 분
• AI/Digital Solution, Robotics 또는 Laboratory Automation 분야에 대한 관심과 학습 의지가 있는 분

• Life Science, Laboratory, Scientific Instrument 또는 Automation 환경에 대한 경험이나 이해도가 있는 분
• 장비 연동, Device Control 또는 System Integration 관련 경험 보유자

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will develop software integrations connecting laboratory instruments with Thermo Scientific™ Momentum Software, AI-enabled scientific applications, and customer digital workflows. You will play a key role in enabling intelligent laboratory automation by integrating software platforms, laboratory instruments, and AI-driven workflows into scalable customer solutions.

[Key Responsibilities]

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom Momentum™ SDK drivers for laboratory instrument integration.
• Develop reliable software interfaces between Momentum and third-party laboratory instruments using standard communication protocols and APIs.
• Integrate laboratory instruments into automated workflows while ensuring software quality through validation, testing, and deployment support.
• Translate customer workflow requirements into scalable software integration solutions through close collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot software, communication, and hardware integration issues during development and customer implementation.
• Develop technical documentation and reusable software components that support standardized integration and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure compliance with Momentum SDK standards and software development best practices.
• Support customer demonstrations, Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities, and continuous improvement of integration frameworks and engineering standards.
• Integrate AI-enabled scientific applications and software services with laboratory automation workflows to support intelligent laboratory operations.
• Collaborate with AI software engineers to enable seamless interaction between laboratory instruments, workflow platforms, and AI-powered applications.

[Qualifications]
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with object-oriented software development, laboratory or industrial system integration, and software platform integration.
• Experience in software validation, testing, and troubleshooting.

[Knowledge, Skills, Abilities]

• Strong programming skills in C# and .NET, Visual Studio, experience integrating software APIs and AI-enabled applications.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including TCP/IP, REST APIs, Serial (RS-232/RS-485), OPC-UA, XML/JSON and software integration architectures supporting laboratory automation and AI workflows.
• Software debugging, unit testing, and version control (Git/Azure DevOps)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Business-level Korean and English communication skills.

[Preferred Qualifications]

• Experience with biotechnology, life sciences, laboratory automation, research, or scientific software environments is highly desirable.
• Experience integrating AI-enabled applications or digital laboratory platforms into laboratory automation workflows.
• Experience developing laboratory instrument drivers or device control software.
• Experience with Thermo Scientific™ Momentum, laboratory automation platforms, or scientific instrumentation.
• Knowledge of laboratory automation standards, robotics, and scientific workflows.
• Experience with Git/Azure DevOps, Agile software development, and SDLC practices.
