Role Title : Logistics Specialist
Department : Operation
Location : Seoul, Korea
Reporting Line(s) : Logistics & Forecasting Manager  


Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to manage the full inbound-to-outbound logistics process, including import coordination, customs clearance, 3PL warehouse operations, and outbound shipments to retail. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in 3PL logistics and preferably a background in purchasing or procurement. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products move efficiently from global suppliers to retailers in Korea.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics & 3PL Operations (including inbound & outbound):
  1. Coordinate product import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  2. Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners to track shipments and proactively resolve delays or exceptions in coordination with internal and external teams.
  3. Oversee 3PL warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and outbound shipments to stores.
  4. Monitor key warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery (OTD), and error rates.
  5. Identify opportunities to improve logistics performance and reduce costs.
• Cost Management & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze logistics costs, including freight, warehousing, and customs-related expenses.
  • Prepare regular KPI and cost performance reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Recommend cost optimization strategies and process improvements based on analysis.
• Product Certification & Compliance:
  • Manage all required product certifications, including KC, EMC, battery transport regulations, and other local safety approvals.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure product specifications meet certification requirements from early development stages.
  • Coordinate with certification agencies, testing labs, and vendors to secure timely approvals.
  • Maintain organized certification records and ensure all products are fully compliant before sale in the Korean market.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A proactive, self-driven mindset, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with internal teams such as product, sales, and operations
• Minimum 5 – 7  years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, and 3PL logistics
• Experience with product safety certifications (e.g., KC, EMC, etc.)
• Solid understanding of end-to-end logistics, from global sourcing to retail delivery
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP/WMS platforms, and shipment tracking tools is a plus

 
Additional Responsibilities:

• Experience or interest in data-driven decision-making, such as analyzing inventory trends or sales performance.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, or operations teams to align on supply and inventory strategies.
