Design Excellence 
• Oversee the design and execution shop-in-shops that reflect the latest creative vision for each brand, ensuring an elevated brand experience for customers. 
• Align with APAC Architecture & Design Lead and Senior Design Manager on design direction for each project, to ensure projects reflect the latest creative direction for each brand and store type. 
• Strong interest in luxury retail or residential design, with experience in drawing/designing in these typologies Drawing Development 
• Lead team in the development of schematic design (SD) and design development (DD) drawing sets for new shops, renovations and refreshes. 
• Complete understanding of reading Construction Documents and ability to redline drawings clearly 
• Ensure team members adhere to established AutoCAD, drafting, project management and directory standards. 
• Collaborate effectively with all internal partners, (Construction, Fixture, Deco, Merchandise/Brand Image teams) to understand intended fixture usage and on new and custom fixture designs. 
• Proficient in Sketch Up and rendering in Enscape with knowledge of lighting effects and material maps 
• Ability to hand sketch is recommended Processes & Best Practices 
• Champion industry best practices within the team and the division. 
• Build strong relationships and partner effectively with Decorative, Project & Construction Management, and Brand Image teams to coordinate all aspects of each project. Approach the work with a “One Team” mentality, in an extremely collaborative work environment 
• Manage consultants and suppliers effectively, including Millworkers and General Contractors, to ensure projects are executed to RL design and quality standards. 
• Proficient in speaking and writing in English

Degree in Architecture or similar field 

• 8years in retail design experience, or similar commercial projects or high-end residential 
• Superior understanding of all phases of an architectural project 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple competing priorities effectively 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop, Enscape rendering 
• Strong knowledge of millwork standards, details and construction 
• Strong analytical skills, highly organized and detail-oriented 
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English
