[Key Responsibilities]

1. Innovation & Product Development
• Execute local innovation and product development strategies aligned with business objectives. 
• Lead the development, renovation, and commercialization of products for the Korea market. 
• Build and manage a 2–3 year product and innovation pipeline. 
• Utilize consumer insights, market trends, and technical expertise to identify growth opportunities. 
• Support value creation initiatives, including product optimization and Design-to-Value opportunities.

2. Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop the R&D team to achieve business and functional objectives. 
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
• Support talent development, succession planning, and capability building within the R&D organization. 
• Drive efficient R&D processes and effective ways of working.

3. Cross functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Global R&D teams. 
• Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution and commercialization. 
• Align stakeholders and priorities to support business growth and innovation objectives.

4. Project & Portfolio Management
• Manage R&D and innovation projects from concept through commercialization. 
• Monitor project timelines, resources, budgets, and risks. 
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to leadership. 
• Ensure compliance with company processes, standards, and best practices.

5. Innovation & Capability Building
• Monitor emerging technologies, consumer trends, and industry developments. 
• Identify opportunities to strengthen product, process, and organizational capabilities. 
• Promote innovation and knowledge sharing across the organization.


[Direction of Others]

• Lead and develop a technical R&D team through effective people management, coaching, and engagement. 
• Directly and indirectly manage a team of up to 10 associates.

[Basic Qualifications]

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Packaging Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience within R&D or product development functions. 
• Proven experience leading innovation or product development projects from concept to commercialization. 
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Solid understanding of ingredients, manufacturing processes, and food technologies.

• Experience working within regional or global organizations.
