Houndpot is a Seoul-based distributor of American and European brands, supplying a wholesale network of 200+ retailers across Korea while operating our own D2C channels. Our brand roster includes Wagwear, Winnie Lou the Canine Co., The Foggy Dog, Springland Pets, and Paikka. We are expanding beyond the pet industry to wholesale independent brands in the home and children's categories.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of our core business — keeping retailer relationships strong, brand partnerships running smoothly, and logistics moving without friction.

What you'll own:

• Manage and grow our wholesale retailer network of 200+ accounts — order processing, restock communication, and relationship management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for our international brand partners (US-based), coordinating buying seasons, PO timelines, and product launches
• Oversee import logistics end-to-end: freight coordination, customs clearance, veterinary certificates, and warehouse receiving
• Monitor inventory levels and flag reorder needs proactively
• Support B2B sales development — identifying and onboarding new retailer accounts
• Keep internal systems (Shopify, order tracking, reporting) up to date and accurate

What we're looking for:
Must-haves

• 2+ years of experience in wholesale distribution, import/export, or brand operations in Korea
• Strong communicator in both Korean and English — you'll be dealing with Korean retailers and English-speaking brand partners daily
• Comfortable working independently and making judgment calls without hand-holding
• Organized and detail-oriented — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
• Comfortable working with AI tools and setting up systems to improve efficiency — we use and expect automation
• Self-directed and motivated — set your own pace, and be rewarded based on your performance and results.
• Looking for upward mobility and wants an opportunity larger than what their years of experience would typically allow

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Korean retail landscape — department stores, online channels, independent boutiques
• Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
