[BURBERRY] (Senior) Finance Analyst, APAC
 
[Position Summary] 
We are seeking a strategic senior finance analyst who will be responsible for analyzing financial data and developing forecasts for APAC. This role plays a vital role in providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making for Japan region with the collaboration with APAC finance team.
 
[Key Responsibilities]

• Prepare budget and forecast for APAC, including system upload reconciliation and check
• Prepare financial reports and analyze business performance. Understand the recent trends and areas for improvement
• Support the Regional Finance Manager / Head of Finance APAC in understanding the financial results versus Budget, Forecast and Prior Year through detailed analysis
• Business partner within the APAC finance team and across several functions in APAC, providing insightful analysis on business performance
• Actively involved in APAC finance projects
• Work with local accounting team to ensure monthly accounts are accurate and properly prepared
• Support other ad hoc tasks within the team including regional consolidation in collaboration with Asia market teams
• Challenge current ways of working to make these more efficient and effective. Continuously to drive improvement in processes, controls and quality of deliverables
• Respond to ad hoc queries, and analysis as required. Prioritizing work effectively to ensure that these queries are responded to on a timely basis

[Qualifications]

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in management reporting and financial analysis, preferably gained from retail environment 
• Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly understand and interpret complex information. Excellent attention to detail
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential for presenting financial data and negotiating budget adjustments with regional stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills with experience of building and working with complex models and large data sets
• Focuses on continuous process improvement, and driving efficiencies
• Ability to build strong relationships, both with the wider Finance team globally and throughout the business
• Pay attention to details, dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Proficiency in Excel, working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Microsoft
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, adapting to rapid change and ambiguity
• Knowledge in using SAP and BPC would be an advantage
