PURPOSE

1. To review and analyze current and proposed business operations to support management’s decision making
2. To monitor various business issues via investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information

RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
1. Financial Planning & Expense Management (35%)

1. Integrated Budgeting: Consolidate comprehensive sales and full-spectrum expense budgets in collaboration with Brand Managers.
2. Cost Control: Monitor key expense lines to ensure alignment with financial targets and operational efficiency.

 
2. Strategic Partnership & Business Reviews (30%)

1. New Venture Analysis: Lead the financial review process for new brand launches and store openings, evaluating viability and performance metrics.
2. KPI Management: Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to align on metrics, goals, and recurring business reviews.
3. Strategic Advisory: Participate in division meetings to translate business strategies into actionable financial perspectives.

 
3. P&L Analysis & Commercial Reporting (20%)

1. Insight Generation: Provide deep-dive P&L analysis (by Brand/Store) to GMs and Brand Managers to drive target delivery.
2. Reporting Suite: Generate timely commercial reports, including POS dashboards, price indices, and budget review templates.

 
4. Projects & System Optimization (10%)

1. Financial Modeling: Drive analysis, projections, and data management for various projects, ensuring a deep understanding of financial structures.
2. Process Improvement: Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance data systems and financial reporting accuracy.

 
5. Executive Support & Ad-hoc (5%)

1. Leadership Materials: Prepare high-level presentation decks for the CFO and Commercial leaders.
2. Stakeholder Relations: Maintain effective cross-functional relationships and perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
2. At least 7 - 9 years of prior experience in related industry preferred.

Certification

1. AICPA preferred

Knowledge

1. Commercial Finance: Mastery of P&L structures, management accounting, and expense control.
2. Business Operations: Strong grasp of general retail processes and financial workflows.
3. Industry Expertise: Experience in Luxury or Travel Retail (preferred).
