People Relations Associate Manager

Tasks

PURPOSE
 As a dedicated HR professional, this role focuses on fostering harmonious labor relations and driving operational excellence through the seamless execution of key HR initiatives. By providing strategic oversight of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and supporting collective bargaining processes, the position ensures organizational stability and enhances employee well-being. This role acts as a critical bridge between strategic planning and practical implementation, optimizing HR workflows and ensuring compliance within the competitive luxury retail landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
Labor Relations and Union Negotiations (35%)

  1. Support collective bargaining processes and labor-management negotiations, including strategy development, position formulation, and implementation of agreements while cultivating positive relationships with union representatives and employee groups 
  2. Support and follow-up action to the Labor-Management Council Meeting and conduct financial impact analyses of collective bargaining agreements.
  3. Analyze labor related information data of luxury retail industry peers 


HR Project Planning and Execution (35%)

  1. Support the implementation and daily operation of key initiatives (e.g., Better BBK, EAP, ERP) to ensure they are successfully embedded in the organization.
  2. Assist in streamlining HR workflows and managing data to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  3. Coordinate administrative tasks and timelines for company-wide projects, including those arising from Labor-Management Council or CBA meetings.

 
Implement and Monitor EAP report (30%)

  1. Set the long-term roadmap for EAP to enhance organizational resilience and ensure alignment with the company’s core values.
  2. Supervise the partnership with external service providers and oversee the quality of counseling and wellness workshops to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  3. Review program utilization data and employee feedback to derive actionable insights, directing continuous improvements to the EAP framework and organizational culture initiatives.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's Degree or above
  2. 4–9 years of relevant experience


Knowledge 

  1. Solid knowledge of collective bargaining processes and Labor-Management Council operations to support effective negotiations.
  2. Thorough knowledge of HR policies and administrative workflows, with a focus on seamless project execution.
  3. Strong grasp of Korean labor laws and statutory regulations to ensure all HR initiatives and EAP programs meet legal standards.
  4. Ability to conduct labor cost impact analyses and monitor EAP utilization data for budget efficiency.


Skills 

  1. Skilled in managing project timelines and cross-functional tasks to ensure HR initiatives are implemented on schedule.
  2. Ability to identify bottlenecks in HR workflows and develop practical solutions to enhance consistency and efficiency.
  3. Strong capability in overseeing external partners and ensuring high-quality service delivery through proactive monitoring.
  4. Clear verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between management strategies and employee-facing programs.
