Position Overview
The Retail Trainer plays a key role in strengthening TISSOT's retail performance and customer experience through the development of retail teams across Korea.
This position is responsible for designing and delivering effective training programs, conducting field coaching, supporting retail excellence initiatives, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards across retail and wholesale channels.
The successful candidate will work closely with Retail, HR, Marketing, and Store Teams to elevate product knowledge, sales capability, customer service standards, and overall store performance while supporting the brand's commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Training & Capability Development
• Lead and manage all TISSOT training activities, including classroom training, field coaching, onboarding, product training, and TISSOT Academy programs.
• Adapt and localize global training materials to reflect market needs while maintaining brand consistency.
• Deliver engaging training sessions covering product knowledge, new launches, brand heritage, retail excellence standards, selling techniques, and customer service.
• Develop training calendars and learning plans aligned with business priorities and commercial objectives.
• Track training effectiveness through assessments, store visits, coaching feedback, and performance indicators.
• Prepare and present regular training reports to Retail and Brand Management teams.
Field Coaching & Retail Excellence
• Conduct regular store visits to provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to retail teams.
• Identify capability gaps and implement targeted coaching initiatives to improve sales performance and customer engagement.
• Reinforce TISSOT service standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and brand presentation across all retail touchpoints.
• Support store teams in achieving operational excellence and delivering best-in-class customer experiences.
• Communicate brand initiatives, strategic priorities, and operational updates to frontline teams.
Sales Performance Support
• Partner closely with Retail Management to support sales growth through capability-building initiatives.
• Analyze store performance trends and identify opportunities to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Monitor execution of sales-driven programs, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
• Support implementation of retail excellence programs designed to improve conversion, average transaction value, and customer satisfaction.
Retail Operations & Project Support
• Support retail events, roadshows, pop-up activations, product launches, and other customer engagement initiatives.
• Assist with store opening, relocation, renovation, and closure projects through training and operational support.
• Conduct store observations covering visual merchandising, customer experience, operational standards, and staff performance.
• Partner with HR to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and learning requirements.
Market Intelligence & Feedback
• Gather and share insights on competitor activities, retail trends, customer behavior, and market developments.
• Provide regular feedback from the field to Retail Management and Brand Management teams.
• Recommend opportunities to strengthen retail execution and customer experience based on market observations.

Requirements
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of retail sales experience within watches, jewelry, fashion, cosmetics, luxury, or premium consumer brands.
• Previous experience as a retail trainer, field coach, store manager, or retail operations specialist is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading, coaching, or developing frontline retail teams.
• Proven ability to deliver training programs that improve sales performance and service standards.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and store performance management.

Education
• Bachelor's degree or above.
Language
• Business-level Korean and English, both written and spoken.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience using learning platforms, retail reporting systems, CRM, or POS systems is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare training presentations, reports, and learning materials effectively.
