Korea Patient Access Partner
Tasks
- Support to achieve and maintain the optimal pricing and reimbursement of the UCB products to align with the business strategy -New Drug Listing & Indication expansion Strategy and management of UCB Products
- Post listing management alinged with product strategy.
- Evidence developement and execute evidence generation to demonstrate the value of UCB products brings to the patients.
- Enhance Relationships with key government officials and hospital listing bodies as well as UCB internal stakeholders to shape favourable environment for patients‘ access.
- Foresee the health policy and environmental chances and provide up-to-date market access intelligence to support more predictable business planning and patient’s benefit
- Provide P&R support to all areas of the business, according to departmental priorities and principles
- Support external engagements to deliver the value of UCB’s products and improve patients‘ access to the innovative UCB’s products.
- New Drug Listing & Indication expansion Strategy/Management of UCB Products
Develop and identify reimbursement strategies for new products and new indications to support optimal NHI listing and pricing
Conduct early assessment of products and initiate activities for reimbursement success
Write and review of National P&MA applications in view of a submission to payers
Present to/negotiate with payer/HTA body
Manage the timeline and quality of reimbursement projects (High quality BNHI submissions, P&R Document, PE Report, PE study, etc.)
Identify, engage and co-ordinate the external resources where required
Develop negotiation strategies and manage negotiation prices to optimize NHI listing and pricing, or minimize business impact
- Post Listing Management
Manage reimbursement status and reimbursement criteria, NHI price
Develop and identify PVA strategy and manage PVA
Negotiate NHI price
- Evidence generation
Plan local evidence generation for payer communication and execute it.
- Relationships with Government officials and target stakeholders
Foster strong working relationships with Government officials(reviewers and PBRS members) and hospital listing bodies
Use key relationships with target stakeholders to facilitate optimal relationships with Government
Provide /educate in-house customers
Communicate and manage health care professionals & medical experts for responsible projects
Maintain relationships and negotiate contracts and prices in accordance with the overall sales
Analyze and determine the most important account in an organization at any time
Shape the pricing related regulatory environment by actively participating in the industry-government discussions
- Operational pricing
Manage the approval of price change or launch, thru approval of Biz case
- External engagement
Support external engagments to deliver the value of UCB’s products and improve patients‘ access to the innovative UCB’s products.
Develop external engagements plan and execute with the relavant stakeholders.Keep the KR pricing data in the global pricing database updated timely
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in MNC pharmaceutical company
- More than 3 years’ experience in pricing & reimbursement
- Management of all product life cycle is preferred (e.g. filing experience for new drug listing and/or reimbursement expansion)
- RSA or PE exemption/Rare disease experience prefered

- Excellent English in speaking and writing
