Job Title : Controlling Director
*Reports to : Group F&A Executive Director/CFO

Job Summary
This role spearheads the organization’s financial stewardship by driving robust cost control measures, optimizing profitability, and ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting across all business segments. The Controlling Director leads the development and execution of annual and monthly budgets, consolidates brand and divisional results, and delivers actionable financial insights to management and the headquarter. By implementing rigorous internal controls, automating reporting systems, and leading international finance projects, the role supports informed decision-making, ensures compliance with tax and regulatory standards, and fosters a culture of transparency and operational excellence. Through proactive leadership, the Controlling Director motivates and develops staff, collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, and serves as a key liaison between local operations and global headquarters, ensuring the achievement of strategic financial objectives and sustainable long-term growth.

Main Responsibilities

1. Strategic planning for the future : Lead overall business planning and synthesize information into financial summaries to support strategic decision-making with stakeholders
2. Profitability target achievement : Drive achievement of budgeted profits and financial targets, including structured costs, ROS%, and group objectives
3. Cost steering measures : Establish and implement efficient cost control measures to achieve targeted results
4. Process stabilization & finance project management : Lead internationalization of finance projects and implement group standard finance systems
5. Business support and cross functional responsibility : Evaluate new business challenges arising from changes in internal and external environments to identify risks and opportunities and support informed decision-making
6. Personnel Management : Recruit, develop, and motivate staff to fulfill departmental tasks through effective hiring, succession planning, and training
7. Product pricing : Ensure accurate incorporation of transfer prices according to agreed margins and retail prices for vehicles and parts business

또한, 엄격한 내부 통제 체계를 구축하고 보고 시스템 자동화를 추진하며, 글로벌 재무 프로젝트를 주도함으로써 합리적인 의사결정을 지원하고 세무 및 관련 법규 준수를 확보하는 동시에 투명성과 운영 효율성을 중시하는 조직 문화를 조성합니다.

Main Responsibilities (국문)

• 미래 전략 기획 : 전사 사업 계획 수립을 주도하고, 다양한 정보를 종합하여 재무 요약 자료로 정리함으로써 주요 이해관계자들의 전략적 의사결정을 지원
• 수익성 목표 달성 : 구조적 비용, ROS%, 그룹 목표 등을 포함한 예산 및 재무 목표 달성을 주도하고, 계획 대비 실적 관리 및 개선 활동 추진
• 비용 관리 및 조정 : 목표 성과 달성을 위한 효율적인 비용 통제 방안을 수립하고 실행하여 전사적인 비용 관리 체계 강화
• 프로세스 안정화 및 재무 프로젝트 관리 : 글로벌 재무 프로젝트의 국제화를 주도하고, 그룹 표준 재무 시스템 도입 및 정착을 통해 재무 프로세스 안정화 추진
• 비즈니스 지원 및 유관 부서 협업 : 내·외부 환경 변화로 인해 발생하는 새로운 비즈니스 이슈를 분석하여 리스크와 기회를 도출하고, 합리적인 의사결정을 위한 재무적 인사이트 제공
• 인력 관리 및 조직 운영 : 효과적인 채용, 승계 계획 및 교육을 통해 부서 인력을 육성하고 동기를 부여하여 조직 목표 달성을 지원
• 제품 가격 관리 : 완성차 및 부품 사업 전반에 걸쳐, 합의된 마진 기준에 따라 이전 가격(Transfer Price)과 소매 가격(Retail Price)이 정확히 반영되도록 관리

Requirement/Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is required.
• Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a global organization is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial controlling–related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of finance experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are highly required.
• Strong understanding of ERP applications and IFRS is highly required.
• Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to stay constantly abreast of changes; strong team player.
• Strategic and analytical thinking, performance-driven mindset, and strong organizational skills are highly required.
• Open-minded with a strong character and an innovative approach to achieve quick solutions and results.
• Fluency in English is required; professional-level Korean proficiency is preferred.

Requirement/Qualification (국문)

• 재무 또는 경영학 학사 학위 필수
• 재무 또는 경영학 석사 학위 필수
• 공인회계사(CPA) 자격 우대
• 다국적 기업에서의 리더십 경험 최소 5년 이상 필수
• 재무 관리 관련 분야 경력 최소 10년 이상 필수
• 자동차 산업 내 재무 관련 경력 최소 3년 이상 필수
• 우수한 커뮤니케이션 및 프레젠테이션 역량 보유자
• ERP 시스템 및 IFRS에 대한 높은 수준의 이해 필수
• 변화에 능동적으로 대응하는 프로액티브하고 핸즈온(Hands-on)한 마인드 보유자, 팀워크 역량 필수
• 전략적·분석적 사고 능력, 성과 지향적 태도 및 우수한 조직 관리 역량 보유자
