Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Aftermarket Services Customer Center. The position leads a team, manages workload and resource allocations, and implements strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring quality, safety and all compliance requirements are met. The role is accountable for continuously increasing Customer Center revenue and profitability, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting or exceeding customer expectations with deliverables that are on time and within budget.
 

Position location is located at the NCS Customer Center in Suwon, South Korea.
 
Essential functions & Responsibilities:
 
Operations
   - Oversee aftermarket services including repairs, maintenance, and customer support.   - Coordinate customer requests and scheduling with customer service and project teams.   - Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.  - Review production and operating reports and manage job scheduling and on-time delivery.  - Maintain inventory processes and warehouse efficiency.  - Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.  - Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.  - Maintain accurate operational and service documentation.  - Collaborate with global Nikkiso Cryogenic Services locations to share best practices.  - Serve as facility manager, ensuring maintenance of facility and equipment.  - Support QMS and ISO compliance requirements.  - Manage and ensure all related safety processes and compliance requirements are met.

Leadership
  - Lead and manage administrative, customer service, and workshop operations teams.  - Provide direction, feedback, coaching, and career development for team members.  - Identify, recruit, onboard, and train employees to support business objectives.

Requirements & Skills:
  - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; or equivalent experience.  - 5–7 years of experience in operations leadership or aftermarket operations.  - Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost management.  - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and improve operational performance.  - Experience with problem solving, continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.  - Project management experience preferred.  - Strong communication and leadership skills.  - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.  - Experience managing teams in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.  - Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements.  - Experience with cryogenic equipment or aftermarket services is a plus.
