[What the role is]
We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual with experience in marketing and partnership development to join our team at Singapore Tourism Board, Korea office.

[What you will be working on]
As a team member of STB Korea, you will be required to work on projects that complements the market development strategies to attract visitors to Singapore. Key areas include but not limited to:
Airlines partnerships: Maintain partnerships with leading airlines partners, both full-service airlines and low-cost carriers, work on promotional campaigns to drive visitors arrivals into Singapore.
Social Media lead: Maintain user engagement on STB Korea Instagram account, stay on pulse with key trends and increase followers through content planning.
Busan Market development: Maintain existing trade partnerships. Deeper study of the market e.g. understanding travel motivations and communication channels, identify and cultivate new partners that will raise destination awareness and capitalise on the growth of visitors from this market.
Meetings & Incentive (2nd officer): Maintain the existing Meetings & Incentive (M&I) leads while actively seeking out new partners to grow our pipeline. For successful M&I groups travelling to Singapore, assist client with related paperwork and applications. This role includes reporting into an existing M&I lead (1st officer) for an initial period of 6 months, and to be extended if the job requires.
Other projects: Officer may be required to undertake other duties and projects as assigned from time to time or have a change in portfolios due to a dynamic operating environment and as part of personal career development.

Requirements
[What we are looking for]
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing and partnerships, with experience in digital and social media marketing as added advantage
- Track record of running successful partnerships / media campaigns and projects whether in a corporate company or agency; experience with marketing in Busan and/or destination promotion is a plus
- Past experience in managing celebrities, content creators and/or Key Opinion Leaders and/or driving engagement in online communities such as Instagram, TikTok and Naver blog/cafe
- Knowledge of marketing metrics and ability to analyse data to assess marketing performance
- Good knowledge of digital and media landscape in Korea and good feel for the pulse of the consumer market in Korea
- Independent worker with strong project management and problem-solving skills, including ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to engage internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Willingness to travel to Singapore as part of corporate meetings and work duties (e.g. FAM trips) as well as within North Asia e.g. Tokyo, Busan. You may be required to staff after hours or weekend events where required as part of work duties, with associated time off in lieu.

- Prepare a short presentation of 3 – 5 minutes about how we can sustain interest on our social media i.e. Instagram and drive growth in followers. You may list some key points to discuss during the interview.
Note: questions are subject to change based on the market development at time of interview.
Physical fitness required for this role as there will be work travel in the region e.g. Japan and to HQ (Singapore).
