The incumbent performs a wide variety of work related to facilities maintenance and repair such as excavation work, job site cleaning, painting preparation and application work, and miscellaneous work assigned by the Shop Foreman or Facility Supervisor.  Assist skilled technical personnel by delivering tools, cleaning the working area, excavating for projects or piping repairs, shampooing carpet, mixing cement and mortar, and moving masonry and other materials to the job site.  Perform other duties as assigned. Direct supervision is received from Facility Supervisor.  Performs other duties as needed.  

Experience: 
Minimum one year of miscellaneous work experience in facility maintenance or construction industry is required.

Language: This may be tested:

Level I (Rudimentary Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English and Level II (Limited Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in Korean is required.

Job Knowledge:
Must have general knowledge of the trades related with facility maintenance operation.

Skills And Abilities:
Must be able to use simple facility tools and equipment; must be adaptable to changing work conditions; ability to lift heavy tools, equipment, and materials; Must have held a driver’s license for a minimum of five (5) years.  Must have valid, current driver’s license for the class II (regular) of vehicle(s). The position may be required to lift power snakes for clearing drains, welding machinery, gas filled cylinders, and other materials weighing up to 60 pounds.

Education Requirements:
Completion of primary school is required.
